I'd like to invite you to add an art gallery to your work place. It could be at no cost to your organization, too! "SoftMatchART brings works of art to workplaces and public spaces". See www.softmatch.com We work with local artists and private / public sponsors to produce and maintain original art collections for display in workplaces for the pleasure of staff and visitors. These art collections, which can vary in size and theme provide a changing supply of beautiful images to adorn selected walls / display cases. Press Release New artist installed at Rainbow Market Square Gallery Feb 1 – 29 80 Front Street East - between Church & Jarvis - in the heart of Toronto's historic St. Lawrence Market district. Toronto Based Artist, Julie Saeger Nierenberg, works primarily with acrylics, watercolors, graphite, and oils. Julie is sensitive to the environment and creates realistic impressionistic depictions of vivid sunrises and sunsets, dramatic cloud formations, and majestic mountain ranges. Her canvases also feature rustic farms, historical buildings, and distinguished faces. Julie has traveled to many of the United States, Europe, Central America, and Israel. She also lived in Oklahoma and Indiana, USA, as well as Cuernavaca, Mexico. Everywhere she goes Julie is inspired by the local sites and settings. A portion of each art sale is donated to charity causes and to educational funding in the communities where Julie's works are sold. Tree Canada will benefit from this Rainbow Cinema show and sale. Press Release Feburary 12, 2008 - Anita Brooks returns to the Rainbow Market Place Gallery with her newest and expressive paintings that uses the vocabulary of street graffiti for aesthetic or expressive effect. Graffiti art is enjoying an new 'in-roads into the official art world' and it now seems to reside quite comfortably in the gallery world. Anita's work uses of minimum of colours on a shiny concrete grey background which makes the graffiti cubes and shapes jump off the canvas, right into your face.
